	Musical instruments can be carried instead of hand luggage. Instruments exceeding the allowed weight and / or size are transported for a fee, the rates correspond to those for carrying sports equipment (see the table above). It's stated on the Air Italy website that musical instruments can also be transported as large hand luggage (CBBG), the service must be ordered in advance. When carried in the passenger's seat, the weight of the instrument usually must not exceed 80 kg, and its size must not exceed 135х50х30 cm.
