Free or airport stores count as hand luggage.
For a small child (infants up to 2 years old) traveling on
the lap of an accompanying person you can take one piece
of hand baggage with a maximum weight of 23 kg and maximum
dimensions of 56 x 45 x 25 cm with everything you need
during the flight. On long-haul flights, some of the cabin seats are equipped with
carrycot and child seat mountings (the number of these is
limited), seats and carrycots are available free of charge.
You can bring your own car seat or AmSafe restraint into the
cabin.
Passengers with disabilities and special requirements, those
needing assistance of the airline staff should contact the airline
at the time of booking or not later than 48 hrs before departure.
Passengers with restricted mobility may carry free of
charge an unlimited number of wheelchairs, mobility aids and
associated equipment, such as walking frames, ramps, shower
seats, bed supports, hoists and spare wheelchair wheels (for
your personal use and each piece is within the allowed dimensions).
Collapsible manual wheelchairs can be used until the moment
of boarding the plane. Carriage of powered wheelchairs and other
electric mobility aids (or mobility aids weighing over 250 kg)
requires prior notification and consent of the airline.
