! Infants (children under 2 years) travel on your lap at 10-30% of the normal fare.

Iberia Airlines hand luggage:

1x piece of hand luggage with the sum of three dimensions 121 cm (56x40x25 cm), which can be stored in the overhead locker

+ in addition to hand luggage and without any surcharge, Iberia allows to take on board small personal items (40x30x10 cm, must fit under the seat in front: umbrella, handbag, briefcase, books, laptop, camcorder, camera, bag with Duty Free purchases and so on). * On flights to and from the United States: only one piece of hand luggage and a small personal item are allowed in the cabin.

! On busy routes some items of hand baggage may be placed in the hold at no extra charge.

Children under the age of 2 can travel on the lap of an adult accompanying person or in an adjacent seat in a car seat (in this case, the fare corresponds to that for children from 2 to 11 years of age). In addition to your hand baggage, you can take on board an additional bag with diapers, baby food, clothing and other baby accessories that can be needed during your flight.
Collapsible buggies / strollers are carried free of charge as carry-on baggage (if they do not exceed the allowed hand luggage measurements, they will be placed under the seat / into the overhead locker) or as checked baggage, you can continue to use them until the moment of boarding the plane.

Passengers with special requirements or persons needing help of the airline staff must notify the airline at the time of booking or not later than 48 hours before departure.
Passengers with restricted mobility may carry free of charge a maximum of two manual or powered mobility aids (including wheelchairs): crutches, walking sticks, walkers, rollators, wheelchairs.  Manual wheelchairs (can be used until boarding). Carriage of powered wheelchairs and other electric mobility aids requires prior notification and consent of the airline.more info  

Iberia Airline Checked Baggage:

For any hold baggage item the sum of three dimensions not larger than 158 cm.

Flights to and from Brazil: Economy 2x checked baggage items each weighing up to 32 kg.

Any items longer than 190 cm are not accepted on Iberia flights from London.

There are more exceptions for some routes, so visit Iberia Airline checked baggage page for more information on checked baggage. For Business Plus/Class fares it is possible to carry a piece of baggage of up to 32 kg.

Children with Child (2-11 years old) or Infant (up to 2 years traveling on your lap) tickets have the same baggage allowance as adult passengers (it may also cover a foldable stroller or a car seat).more info

Iberia Airline carriage of pets:

Pets (birds) carried in the aircraft cabin. The size of the container must not exceed 105 cm in the sum of three dimensions: 45х35х25 cm, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 8 kg.

* Flights originating in America $150, except flights to/from Brazil $240.

Guide dogs can travel in the cabin at no extra cost (emotional support animals carried on flights to / from US): carriage permission must be requested at least 48 hrs before your scheduled departure through Serviberia: 901 111 500. Pets (birds) carried in the baggage compartment, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 45 kg.

! Iberia won't carry your snub-nosed animals (such as pugs, boxers, bulldogs or Persian and Burmese cats) in the cargo hold. ! There is currently a temporary ban on bringing dogs into the U.S. from countries with a high risk of rabies. ! The carriage of weasels (ferrets, pine martens, etc.) is prohibited on all Iberia flights.

Iberia Airlines carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition:

Bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, ski, golf, surf, windsurf, kite board and bodyboard (max 100x50x20 cm) equipment, hand glider, paragliding equipment, parachuting equipment, diving, fishing, inflatable rubber boat, life jacket/personal flotation devices.

On short- and medium-haul flights (within Spain, between Spain and Europe, Africa and the Middle East), sports equipment is carried at extra charge only, regardless of the baggage allowance.
On long-haul flights, sports equipment may be transported free of charge and in accordance with the free baggage allowance.

Firearms are treated as special baggage, outside of the permitted allowance: €75 (or $75 from America, Nigeria and Israel).

Iberia Airline carriage of musical instruments:

Instead of carry-on baggage: if musical instrument not exceeds 120x38x30 cm.

When carried in the passenger's seat, the weight of the instrument usually must not exceed 80 kg, and its size must not exceed 135х50х30 cm. You must contact Iberia Airline Bookings Centre in order to obtain precise information and permissions. Musical instruments as checked baggage: max 190x75x65 cm and 23 kg; if the weight is more than 23 kg but less than 32 kg, overweight fee must be paid. As an exception, musical instruments between 32 and 45 kg may be allowed.more info
