Changes in terms and conditions of Pegasus Airlines passenger transportation due to coronavirus:
at present some countries have restricted non-essential trips: the current restrictions, other information and advisories on entering foreign countries for US citizens;

please note that entering many countries requires filling in the contact form (sometimes it is also necessary to get a QR code), providing the results of the preliminary passed  negative antigen (done not later than 48 hours before departure) or PCR test (no more than 72) for coronavirus and/or self-isolation (quarantine) with the duration from 5 (under condition of passing the repeated tests) and up to 14 days upon arrival in the destination country; you may also encounter complete restriction on entry for foreign nationals or the need to provide proof of vaccination/revaccination;

using a hand sanitizer and wearing a protective mask (surgical masks or of FFP or N95 standards without valve are allowed, one mask for approximately 4 hours of flight) covering both your nose and mouth is mandatory for all passengers at all stages of the flight: when boarding / disembarking and during the flight.

Infants (children up to 2 years of age) can travel on an adult’s lap at an extra charge of 20-30 TRY on domestic and of 20-30 ​€ on international flights.

Pegasus Airlines hand luggage:

In order to make boarding and accomodating inside the aircraft faster and easier, each passenger is allowed to bring only one 55x40x20cm piece of carry-on baggage free of charge. Passengers carrying more luggage will be required to bring extra bags for loading into the aircraft baggage compartment during boarding.

Overweight or oversized hand luggage: by departure outside of Turkey €70 charged at the boarding gates, by departure from Turkey the weight of overweight/oversized hand luggage added to checked baggage. For an infant (a child under 2 years) a baby cot, a fully collapsible stroller / buggy (are checked in with other baggage and can be handed down at the gate if required) can be transported free of charge. You can also bring baby food for the duration of your flight (liquids can be taken in containers up to 100 ml).

Passengers with disabilities and special requirements, those needing assistance of the airline staff should contact the airline at the time of booking or not later than 48 hrs before departure.
For passengers with restricted mobility, manual and dry/gel cell or lithium-ion, non-spillable battery-powered wheelchairs can be accepted, the service requires prior notification and consent of the airline. Manual wheelchairs can be used until boarding the aircraft.more info

A piece of hold baggage *Domestic: Turkey + Cyprus

For all infant passengers under the age of two: checked baggage allowance is 10 kg "on all flights and irrespective of the Package covering their Ticket". more info  

Pegasus Airlines excess baggage charges:

Passengers with Basic Package on international flights: baggage fee for up to 20 kg of checked baggage is starting from €5 if bought through website, mobile app, call center or authorized travel agencies and €8 at the airport.

The max weight of a baggage item no more than 32 kg.

Prices can be more than 50% higher at the airport.

Baggage fees for International (direct and connecting) flights please refer to Excess baggage charges on International and other flights. Price range (through web, mobile, agent, call center): for additional 20 kg bag from €10 to 17 if purchased 60+ days before the departure; +50% — 60-10 days; +75% — from 10 days to 3 hrs. For each kg over 20 kg: from €2 and up to 8. At the airport from €20 to $40 for a baggage item up to 20 kg. For connecting flights, the fee of excess baggage is determined by summing up the values for the departure and arrival airports.

Baggage fee for Cyprus direct and connecting flights. Price range for a piece of baggage up to 20 kg: from €3 if bought 60+ days before departure,  +50% — 60-10 days; +75% — from 10 days to 3 hrs. Each kg over 20 kg costs TRY5 / €1,5. At the airport: 20 kg - bag costs TRY35 and TRY10 for each kg over 20 kg will be charged.

Fees on Domestic (direct and connecting) flights. Price range: from TRY15 for each kg over 15 kg if bought through web, mobile, agent, TRY17 call center and up to TRY20 on connecting flights for each kg over 20 kg in the airport 0-12 hrs. before the departure.more info  

Pegasus Airlines carriage of pets:

Pets (cats, dogs and birds) carried in the aircraft cabin: the size of the container must not exceed 115 cm in the sum of three dimensions: 55х32х32 cm, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 8 kg.

Pets are not accepted for transportation on flights to / from the UK, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Dammam, birds are accepted on domestic scheduled flights only.

Prices provided the service is purchased more than 60 days before the flight * Pets (birds) are carried in the baggage compartment only on domestic (Turkey) scheduled flights of Pegasus Airlines.more info  

Pegasus Airlines carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition:

Sports equipment is not included in the free baggage allowance and carried for a fixed fee or by paying for excess baggage outside of your free baggage allowance.

Prices for booking the service more than 60 days in advance, domestic flights in TRY / international in $: ski, golf and diving equipment 150 / 30, surfboard, bicycle 200 / 50.

In the General Terms and Conditions → Special Baggage and Equipment stated, that sporting weapons can be accepted for carriage as Special Equipment  (SPEQ,  TRY150 on domestic and $45 for international routes).more info  

Pegasus Airlines carriage of musical instruments:

Musical instruments are carried by Pegasus Airlines for a fixed fee or by paying for excess baggage outside of your free baggage allowance.

Fees for carriage of special equipment is TRY150 for domestic and $45 for international flights (if booked more than 60 days in advance).

When carried in the passenger's seat, the weight of the instrument usually must not exceed 80 kg, and its size must not exceed 135х50х30 cm.more info
