Changes in terms and conditions of SunExpress passenger transportation due to coronavirus:
at present some countries have restricted non-essential trips: the current restrictions, other information and advisories on entering foreign countries for US citizens;

please note that entering many countries requires filling in the contact form (sometimes it is also necessary to get a QR code), providing the results of the preliminary passed (mainly not more than 72 hours before departure) negative PCR test (PCR test) for coronavirus and/or self-isolation (quarantine) with the duration from 5 (under condition of passing the repeated tests) and up to 14 days upon arrival in the destination country;

wearing a protective mask (surgical masks or of FFP2, KN95 or N95 standards without valve are allowed, one mask for approximately 4 hours of flight) covering both your nose and mouth is mandatory for all passengers older than 6 years of age at all stages of the flight: when boarding / disembarking and during the flight.

Airline SunExpress hand luggage:

1 piece of carry-on baggage with the sum of three dimensions 115 cm (55х40х20 cm)

+ SunExpress allows carriage of small personal items (umbrella, handbag, briefcase, walking stick/cane, books, laptop, camcorder, camera, bag with Travel Value or Duty Free purchases, medications and special food, incl. baby food, that will be needed during the flight) Passengers with disabilities and special requirements, those needing assistance of the airline staff should contact the airline at the time of booking or not later than 48 hrs before departure.
Passengers with restricted mobility can carry medical equipment that they will need during flight, including powered wheelchairs and other electric mobility aids, but it requires prior notification and consent of the airline. Wheelchairs with liquid power supply won't be accepted for carriage.more info  

SunExpress Airlines Checked Baggage:

One piece of hold baggage can not exceed the weight of max 32 kg or 158 cm in the sum of three dimensions.

The table below shows the free baggage allowance in kg For children under 2 years on SunExpress flights, it's allowed to carry up to 20 kg of checked baggage on international and up to 15 kg on domestic flights (Turkey). Collapsible strollers / buggies, baby cots and car seats are transported free of charge in the hold of the aircraft. more info

Max 40 kg of hold luggage per person.

Prices in € or TRY depending on flight route The weight of 1 piece of checked baggage must not exceed 32 kg.

A fee of 45 € is charged at the check-in desk for oversized (more than 158 cm) pieces of baggage.more info  

SunExpress Airlines carriage of pets:

Pets (birds) carried in the aircraft cabin on SunExpress flights. The size of the container must not exceed 115 cm in the sum of three dimensions: 55х40х20 cm, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 8 kg.
For budgerigars carriage on domestic routes only: TRY79,99 or €10.

Pets (birds) carried in the baggage compartment, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) over 8 kg Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities can travel in the cabin for free, this service requires prior notification and consent of the airline.more info  

Airlines SunExpres carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition:

Sports equipment up to 30 kg is carried for a fixed fee (see below).

For sports equipment heavier than 30 kg standard rates for excess baggage will apply (€10 per kg).

Airline SunExpress carriage of musical instruments:

Musical instruments usually are included in the baggage allowance and can be carried instead of carry-on or hold baggage pieces, but in this case the carrier is not liable for their damage.

When carried in the passenger's seat, the weight of the instrument usually must not exceed 80 kg, and its size must not exceed 135х50х30 cm.more info
