Changes in terms and conditions of Aegean Airlines passenger transportation due to coronavirus: not relevant at the moment.

Aegean Airlines hand luggage allowance:

One piece of hand baggage not exceeding 126 cm* in the sum of three dimensions (56x45x25 cm) weighing up to 13 kg for Business Class passengers and up to 8 kg for all other fares
* on Olympic Air flights (Bombardier DH8-100, DH8-400 and ATR aircrafts) 55x40x23 cm

+ on Aegean Airlines flights, you can also take small personal items: a handbag, briefcase, laptop case, video camera, camera, a medium-sized backpack, these items must fit under the seat in front (the Light fare allows only one piece, so you can take either a bag 56x45x25 cm or a small personal item).

Hand luggage exceeding the permitted weight or dimensions will have to be checked in for an additional fee (see below).

For infants (children under 2 yeas of age) you can carry a piece of hand baggage up to 6 kg and dimensions not exceeding 55x40x23 cm with items that can be used during your flight (food, diapers and so on). The baggage allowance for children traveling in their own separate seat (there's no charge for an authorized car seat) is the same as of an adult passenger (business or economy). If it's required, you can take for your child a collapsible stroller at no additional cost.

Passengers with special requirements or persons needing help of the airline staff must notify the airline at the time of booking or not later than 48 hours before departure.
Passengers with reduced mobility are allowed to transport two items of mobility equipment without additional charge, also free of charge you can transport up to 2 items of mobility equipment used for sports purposes. more info  

Aegean Airlines checked baggage allowance:

The sum of three dimensions of any hold baggage item must not be larger than 158 cm On flights from/to Saudi Arabia: Economy 1x 30, Business 2x 20 each piece

Except for Light and Flex fares which do not include check-in baggage: 1 piece of check-in baggage weighing up to 23 kg is allowed for an infant (from 0 to 2 years) accompanied by adult with ComfortFlex fare, and 1 piece up to 32 kg — with Business fare.

Children from 2 to 12 years old are allowed the same amount of baggage as an adult.more info

International short haul flights to/from: Cyprus, Italy, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Turkey, Israel, Poland, Switzerland, Lebanon, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Jordan, Georgia, Croatia, Malta, Armenia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Montenegro

International long haul flights to/from: France, Belgium, United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, Latvia, Russia, Portugal, to/from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Kuwait

Prices differ between low season (01.01 - 15.06, 01.10 - 31.12) and high season (16.06 - 31.10). * items heavier than 32 kg can be transported as cargo

Aegean Airlines carriage of pets (dogs, cats, birds):

Aegean Airlines does not accept snub-nosed animals for carriage in the cargo hold (this includes pugs, boxers, bulldogs, Persian and Burmese cats, a list can be fount on page Carriage of Pets by European Airlines).

Pets (cats, dogs and ferrets) can be carried by Aegean Airlines in the aircraft cabin. The size of the container must not exceed 115 cm in the sum of three dimensions: 55х40х23 cm*, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 8 kg.
* On DH8-100 and DH8-400 aircrafts 40x25x25 cm

Assistance dogs can travel with a disabled passenger in the cabin free of charge, but the airline must be notified first.

For pets (birds) tramsported in the luggage compartment, maximum container size must not exceed 105x75x79 cm.
There can be a surcharge of €10 for flights from 16 June to 31 October.more info  

Aegean Airlines carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition:

Sports equipment can be carried free of charge as part of the free baggage allowance (max 5 pieces per passenger).

A set of golf equipment can be carried for an extra charge of €35 on domestic and €45 on international routes of Aegean Airlines.

For an additional fee of €50, Aegean will carry ski equipment (snow and water ski), alpinist / hiking / walking, archery equipment, bicycle, boogie board / body board, bowling equipment, fishing , fencing , hockey equipment, inline-skates, javelin, kite surfboard, parachute, scuba / skin diving equipment, skateboard, snowboard (snow ski equipment), sporting / hunting weapons and ammunition*, surfboard, tennis- / squash- / badminton equipment, wakeboard, waterski equipment, waveboard, every additional set of golf equipment.
* booked through the AEGEAN Call Center upon prior approval only, + on departure from Cyprus there is an additional fee of €25.

You'll need to pay €100 for carrige of hang gliding, horse riding, pole vault, windsurfing equipment, rubber dingies, longboards, tandem bikes, canoes / kayaks.

Aegean Airlines carriage of musical instruments:

Musical instruments carried as checked baggage are subject to fees shown in the table above (see sports equipment).

Musical instruments can be included in the baggage allowance.

Instruments carried in the passenger cabin: you can carry them instead of your hand baggage or book an additional seat. When carried in the passenger's seat, the weight of the instrument usually must not exceed 80 kg, and its size must not exceed for Airbus 150x22x42 cm for instruments placed on the floor and 110x60x42 cm placed on the seat; for DH8-400 135x40x28 and 90x40x50 respectively.more info
