! For infants (children up to 2 years old) traveling on an adult's lap the discount is 90% of the regular airfare (excluding taxes and airport taxes).

Airline AirBaltic hand luggage:

1х piece of carry-on baggage 55х40х23 cm

+ AirBaltic allows on its flights small personal items (30х40х10 cm, umbrella, handbag, briefcase, walking stick/cane, books, laptop, camcorder, camera, bag with Duty Free purchases and so on)

For infants (children under 2 years) free of charge can be brought on board a collapsible stroller, a baby carrier (bassinet or carrycot) or an authorized car seat. They are also entitled to 1 piece of checked baggage weighing up to 10 kg.

For passengers with reduced mobility, wheelchairs, crutches, walkers and other orthopedic / mobility aids will be carried free of charge (according to safety rules).

! Below is given the maximum possible total weight of hand luggage together with a personal item You can take 12 kg of carry-on baggage for a sum from €11,99 (with Business fare, the option is initially included).

Hand baggage exceeding the allowed weight / size will be still accepted for transport as checked baggage (in the cargo hold) for an additional fee of €60more info  

Airline AirBaltic Checked Baggage:

Standard piece of checked baggage with the sum of three dimensions not larger than 230 cm (100х50х80 cm) and max weight of 23 kg more info

Standard piece of hold baggage 23 kg

The weight of one piece of checked baggage may not exceed 32 kg,

overweight up to 32 kg fee is €60, bulky (oversized) baggage — €75

Airline AirBaltic carriage of pets:

Pets (cats and dogs only) max 2 pets of the same kind, in the cabin on AirBaltic flights. Container size 55х40х23 cm, max weight (with a pet/pets) 12 kg.

In this case, pet transportation fees are €70 (per container and segment).

Pets (cats and dogs only) carried in the baggage compartment, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 75 kg and its size 80х156х86 cm more info  

Airline AirBaltic carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition:

Diving, golf, skiing, snowboard, ice hockey, fishing, surf/kite board and windsurfing equipment not exceeding baggage allowance ( 23 kg): fees per set can be seen in the table below; if transporting bicycle with maximum weight of 25 kg, add to them €5 in the first two cases. If weight is exceeded, an additional fee of €60 euros per set of equipment will be charged.

For transporting weapons, a fee of €75 is charged. Please note that firearms and other weapons may only be transported properly packed as your checked luggage, without ammunition, and must be disassembled (the bolt may not be carried in the same bag as the other parts).
A set of weapons must not exceed 23 kg, otherwise you will have to pay €60 for the carriage of heavy baggage. Each passenger can carry up to 5 kg of ammunition. Contact  Airline AirBaltic ticket offices or representatives for detailed information. Business Fare initially includes the possibility of free carriage of one set of sports equipment.

From November 1, 2023 to March 30, 2024, when booking via airBaltic Call Center, one set of ski or snowboard equipment per passenger can be carried free of charge on flights to/from Kittila.more info  

Airline AirBaltic carriage of musical instruments:

Musical instruments are included in the baggage allowance.

Instruments in the cabin: max size 55x40x23 cm (exception case for violin max length 80 cm).  If the dimensions of the violin exceed 55x40x23 cm, the extra hand luggage fee is charged even if it is the passenger's only piece of hand luggage.

Fee for an extra piece of hand luggage: €60 online and at the airport.

When transporting a musical instrument in a passenger seat or next to it, its weight must not exceed 32 kg; the dimensions of the instrument standing on the floor may not exceed 145x45x25 cm, or 105x45x40 cm when fastened to the seat.more info
