Musical instruments are included in the baggage allowance.

Small musical instruments can be carried instead of your hand luggage.

For musical instruments transported as checked baggage: if the sum of three dimensions of the casing is greater than 203 cm but less than 330 cm: additional charge €110 within Europe and between Europe and the Middle East and €200 for all other routes.

Instruments with the sum of three dimensions over 330 cm and/or weighing more than 32 kg are transported only as cargo.

When carried in the cabin in (near on the floor) the specially booked for them passenger seats, the weight of musical instruments should not exceed 75 kg, the max allowed dimensions differ depending on the type of aircraft, in cm.
