Changes in terms and conditions of Ural Airlines passenger transportation due to coronavirus:
at present some countries have restricted non-essential trips: the current restrictions, other information and advisories on entering foreign countries for US citizens;

please note that entering many countries requires filling in the contact form (sometimes it is also necessary to get a QR code), providing the results of the preliminary passed (mainly not more than 72 hours before departure) negative PCR test (PCR test) for coronavirus and/or self-isolation (quarantine) with the duration from 5 (under condition of passing the repeated tests) and up to 14 days upon arrival in the destination country;

wearing a protective mask covering both your nose and mouth and medical gloves is mandatory at all stages of the flight: when boarding / disembarking and during the flight.

! Infants (children up to 2 years of age) can travel on an adult’s lap at no extra charge on domestic flights and at a discount of 90% of the applicable fare on international flights.

Ural Airlines hand luggage:

1 piece of carry-on baggage with the sum of three dimensions 115 cm* (55х40х20 cm)
 + in addition, it is allowed to take on board free of charge small personal items (a backpack up to 80 cm and weighing up to 5 kg or briefcase or handbag, umbrella, laptop of up to 3 kg and with dimensions not exceeding 30x45x10 cm, umbrella, walking stick/cane, books, laptop, camcorder, camera, bag with Duty Free purchases and so on).
* For Low-cost fares 40x30x20 cm ? although the sum of three dimensions is indicated as for all others tariff groups (115 cm)

For an infant (a child under 2 years of age), diapers and baby food for the flight duration can also be taken on board free of charge, as well as collapsible baby strollers, portable cots, child restraints or car seats not exceeding 55x40x20 cm. Hand luggage allowance for an infant with no separate seat is 5 kg regardless of the fare.

Passengers with disabilities and special requirements, those needing assistance of the airline staff should contact the airline at the time of booking.
Passengers with restricted mobility may carry in the cabin free of charge in addition to their baggage allowance crutches, walking sticks, walkers, rollators, collapsible manual wheelchairs. Carriage of powered wheelchairs and other electric mobility aids requires prior notification and consent of the airline. Electric wheelchairs are carried as regular checked baggage.

Ural Airlines Checked Baggage:

The sum of three dimensions of any hold baggage item must not be larger than 203 cm, every side no more than 100 cm.

Checked baggage allowance for a child traveling on an adult's lap is 10 kg*. A buggy / stroller is transported free of charge in addition to baggage allowance.
* with exception of Promo Light / Promo /  Low-cost Luggage / Low-cost Luggage-free

! Carriage of strollers/buggies in the cabin is not allowed: it will have to be handed over either at check-in or at the gate (depending on the airport).

Promo Light and Low Cost hand baggage fares: no checked baggage, hand luggage only, Low Cost checked baggage 1х 23 kg.
** Except Tajikistan / Kyrgyzstan / Uzbekistan, for these directions, only one piece of up to 23 kg is allowed. more info  

Ural Airlines excess baggage charges:

Standard piece of baggage 23 kg, overweight: heavier than 23 (or 10 for Promo) and up to 32 kg (up to 50 kg on domestic and CIS flights),  oversized more than 203 cm in the sum of three dimensions (up to 220х80х50 cm with the permission of Urals Airlines).

Hold baggage over 50 kg and with the sum of three dimensions more than 220х80х50 cm transported only as cargo.

An extra hand luggage item weighing up to 10 kg and with measurements of 55x40x25 cm (or 40x30x20 cm for low cost fares) will cost you 2800 ₽ (+500 ₽ booked less than 24 hours before your flight) / 35 € / 40 € respectively.

Fees for transporting beach umbrellas: domestic - ₽2000, CIS - €25, international routes - €25.

The table below shows the minimum fees in ₽ on domestic and in € on all other flights

Ural Airlines carriage of pets:

Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities can travel in the cabin for free, requires prior notification and consent of the airline.

Pets (cats, dogs, parrots, canaries*) carried in the aircraft cabin. The size of the container must not exceed 105 cm in the sum of three dimensions: 45x35x25 cm, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 8 kg.
* Only dogs and cats are allowed in business class cabin.

The indicated in the table below fee is charged for the entire route in a one-way ticket regardless of the number of segments.

For cancellation of pre-booked service of animal (bird) transportation, a fee of 25% of the cost of the service will be charged. Cancellation can be made no later than 24 hours prior to departure.
In case of exceeding the size of the container or its weight and the total weight of the cage and the animal not exceeding 15 kg and its size — 45x60x45 cm the animal may be transported as hand baggage on an additional passenger seat, you have to book the Baggage in the cabin service.

Pets (birds) in the luggage compartment are carried as cargo upon prior agreement (written application) with the airline. more info  

Ural Airlines carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition:

Ski, hockey equipment, surfboards, snowboards, fishing equipment, golf equipment, and bicycles not exceeding 23 kg and less than 203 cm in the sum of three dimensions are carried free of charge and in addition to the free baggage allowance*.

Skis (incl. water skis), snowboards and surfboards may not exceed 350 cm in the sum of the three dimensions, with one side not exceeding 220 cm. It is allowed to combine baggage allowance for skis and snowboards and carry several pairs of skis or snowboards in one bag, but its weight should not exceed 30 kg*.

Other sports equipment is considered excess baggage.
For sports equipment exceeding the free baggage allowance the standard excess baggage rates apply.

Carriage of sporting guns and ammunition (max 5 kg) requires prior notification and consent of the airline, standard baggage rules will apply (can be carried free of charge instead of allowed cabin or hold baggage). more info  

Ural Airlines carriage of musical instruments:

Small musical instruments can be carried as (instead of) your carry-on baggage (no more than 5 kg and 115 cm, 135 cm for guitars). The service in this case is free of charge.

Musical instruments carried in the hold are not considered to be a part of free baggage allowance and are accepted only for a separate fee.

When carried in the passenger's seat, the weight of the instrument must not exceed 80 kg, and its size — 120х75х45 cm.more info
