Changes in terms and conditions of Condor passenger transportation due to coronavirus:
at present some countries have restricted non-essential trips: the current restrictions, other information and advisories on entering foreign countries for US citizens;

please note that entering many countries requires filling in the contact form (sometimes it is also necessary to get a QR code), providing the results of the preliminary passed (mainly not more than 72 hours before departure) negative PCR test (PCR test) for coronavirus and/or self-isolation (quarantine) with the duration from 5 (under condition of passing the repeated tests) and up to 14 days upon arrival in the destination country;

wearing a protective mask covering both your nose and mouth is still mandatory for all passengers over 6 years of age at all stages of the flight: when boarding / disembarking and during the flight; FFP2, KN95 and N95 certified masks without valve and surgical masks are acceptable; cloth masks, masks with valve or scarves are not allowed. You should change your mask every 3-4 hours of flight unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer.

Condor Airlines hand luggage:

For all passengers, 1 piece of hand baggage with a maximum size of three dimensions up to 80 cm (40x30x10 cm) is allowed, it must fit under the seat in front

All passengers except Economy Light fare: a second piece of hand luggage up to 115 cm (55x40x20 cm) with a maximum size of three dimensions, which can be placed in the overhead compartment, is allowed. Passengers with Economy Light fare can purchase this second piece of hand baggage for €9.99 up to eight hours before departure.

+ with a receipt or other proof of purchase, you can carry in the cabin a sealed bag with purchases from the "Duty Free" store (with goods purchased on the day of the flight)

Excess baggage fees will be charged at check-in if the permitted amount of carry-on baggage is exceeded and even higher fees will be charged at the gate: for Zones 1-2: $85 / €75 / £65 and for Zones 3-5: $110 / €100 / £85.

the table below shows the total weight of all items No hand baggage is allowed for infants under 2 years of age (infants must fly on the lap of an adult accompanying person). For children over 2 years old the same amount of hand baggage as for adults can be taken on board.

Passengers with disabilities and special requirements, those needing assistance of the airline staff should contact the airline at the time of booking or not later than 48 hrs. before departure.
Passengers with reduced mobility may take crutches, canes, walkers, and rollators in the cabin free of charge and in excess of the established baggage allowance. Folding mechanical wheelchairs may be used up to the moment of boarding the aircraft. Prior arrangements must be made with the airline for the carriage of wheelchairs or other battery-powered mobility aids. Electric wheelchairs are carried as checked-in baggage. Two mobility aids can be carried free of charge.more info  

Condor Airline Checked Baggage:

Flight zones.
Zone 1: Domestic flights, Balearic Islands, Balkans, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Zone 2: Iceland, the Canary Islands, Cape Verde and Madeira, Cyprus, Malta, Greece and Turkey, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Gambia and the United Arab Emirates.
Zone 3*: East Africa, Asia, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.
Zone 4: Namibia, South Africa and the Indian Ocean.
Zone 5*: United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
Zone 6:

1 piece of checked baggage may not exceed the size of 158 cm in the sum of the three dimensions.

The number of pieces of baggage allowed free of charge is in principle unlimited.

For children in addition to checked baggage, strollers, buggies, carry-cots, child-carriers and car seats (maximum two items) can be carried free of charge in the hold. The weight of checked-in baggage for children under 2 years of age traveling on their parents' lap must not exceed 10 kg (23 kg on flights originating in Brazil)*. For children over 2 years of age or for infants occupying a separate seat, the baggage allowance is the same as of an adult passenger. * With the exception of the Economy Light fare, which does not include free checked baggage

Condor Airlines excess baggage charges:

A standard piece of checked baggage may not exceed 158 cm in the sum of three dimensions

The weight of a single piece of baggage may not exceed 32 kg

You can buy additional weight/baggage pieces online no later than 8 hours before departure

Fees in € * Only for Economy Light fare.

** USA, Canada and Puerto Rico: at the airport you will have to pay 100 € for an extra piece of luggage up to 23 kg.more info  

Condor Airline carriage of pets:

Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities may travel free of charge in the cabin, transportation must be agreed upon in advance.

Pets (dog or cat) in the aircraft cabin: the size of the container up to 115 cm (55x40x20 cm) in the sum of the three dimensions, maximum weight of the container (together with pet/pets) 8 kg.

Passengers occupying business class seats on long-haul flights (zones 3-5), seats in the exit row or seats behind the partition may not carry a pet in the cabin.

Pets (cats and dogs) in the luggage compartment, maximum container size 100x80x55 cm.

The prices in the table in €, tariff zones can be found above in the Checked baggage section For not pre-registered animals, an additional fee of 60.01 € per one-way flight will be charged at the airport.

Not accepted for transportation as baggage (in the cabin or in the luggage compartment):
brachycephalic (snub-nosed) cat and dog breeds: Bulldog (English, French, American), Pug, Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Boxer, Griffon (Belgian, Brussels), Boston Terrier, Bordeaux Mastiff, Japanese Chin;
animals on flights to/from the following destinations: Barbados, Dubai, Egypt, Jamaica, Cape Town, Male (Maldives), Mombasa, Sharjah, Nairobi, Tobago, Las Vegas (May through September), Phoenix.

For animals transported to Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden and Malta, stricter rules apply regarding blood tests and hepatitis vaccination.more info  

Condor Airlines carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition:

Bicycles, skiing, snowboarding, hockey, golf, diving, surfing and fishing equipment etc. may be carried at an additional charge (except for one set of equipment for Business Class passengers).

Sports equipment must be checked in at least 8 hours before departure. For passengers with business class tickets one piece of sports equipment is carried at no extra charge, which also requires timely registration.

The maximum dimensions of a set of equipment may not exceed 200x40x100 cm or 300x40x60 cm and its weight is limited to 30 kg.

Condor Airline carriage of musical instruments:

Small instruments with dimensions not exceeding 115 cm can be carried in the cabin instead of hand luggage in accordance with the regulations, larger instruments can be carried as checked baggage, but in these cases the airline is not responsible for their damage.

If you wish to carry an instrument in the passenger seat, you must obtain permission from the airline in advance and pay the appropriate fee.more info
