! Almost all passengers / baggage transportation rules of Air Nostrum correspond to those of its parent company, IBERIA.

Air Nostrum hand luggage:

1x piece of hand luggage with the sum of three dimensions 121 cm (56x40x25 cm), can be stored in the overhead bin + Iberia also allows to take on board small personal items (40x30x10 cm, must fit under the seat in front: umbrella, handbag, briefcase, books, laptop, camcorder, camera, bag with Duty Free purchases and so on).more info  

Air Nostrum Checked Baggage:

For any hold baggage item the sum of three dimensions not larger than 158 cm Children with child or infant tickets have the same baggage allowance as an adult person (it may also cover a foldable stroller or a car seat). more info  

Air Nostrum excess baggage charges:

Standard piece 23 kg, overweight up to 32 kg

Max 3 additional hold baggage pieces for a passenger.

Air Nostrum carriage of pets:

Pets (birds) carried in the aircraft cabin on Air Nostrum flights. The size of the container must not exceed 105 cm in the sum of three dimensions: 45х35х25 cm, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) must not exceed 8 kg.
Pets (birds) carried in the baggage compartment, the weight of the container (with pet/pets) usually must not exceed 50-75 kg.

! On flights operated by Air Nostrum: max container size 65x83x56 cm.

! Air Nostrum will refuse to carry your snub-nosed animals (such as pugs, boxers, bulldogs or Persian and Burmese cats) in the cargo hold. A longer list of snub-nosed animals can be found on our page Carriage of Pets by European Airlines. But the airline may still be able to carry them as cargo: Spain 901 111 400, from another country (+34) 917481010 (IBERIA cargo). ! The carriage of weasels (ferrets, pine martens, etc.) is prohibited on all Air Nostrum flights.

Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities can travel in the cabin for free, this service requires prior notification and consent of the airline.more info  

Air Nostrum carriage of special baggage: sports equipment, firearms and ammunition:

Bicycles, skates, skateboards, scooters, ski, golf, surf, windsurf, kite board and bodyboard (max 100x50x20 cm) equipment, hand glider, paragliding equipment, parachuting equipment, diving, fishing, inflatable rubber boat, life jacket/personal flotation devices.

Firearms are treated as special baggage, outside of the permitted allowance: €75 (or $75 from America, Nigeria and Israel)

Air Nostrum carriage of musical instruments:

Instead of carry-on baggage: if musical instrument not exceeds 120x38x30 cm.

When carried in the passenger's seat, the weight of the instrument usually must not exceed 80 kg, and its size must not exceed 135х50х30 cm. You must contact Air Nostrum Bookings Centre in order to obtain precise information and permissions Musical instruments as checked baggage: max 190x75x65 cm and 23 kg; if the weight is more than 23 kg but less than 32 kg, overweight fee must be paid. As an exception, musical instruments between 32 and 45 kg may be allowed.more info
